Famous for its hair-pin turns and steep grade through the beautiful Arbuckle Mountains, US Hwy 77 was once the heavily-traveled major North/South route between Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City and all points North. However, with the opening of Interstate 35 in the early 1970s, US Hwy 77 soon became the "road less traveled".  Until now, that is . . .

The Bar Nothin' Marathon

The uniquely beautiful Marathon point-to-point course begins at the historic Turner Falls Overlook in the Arbuckle Mountains and winds downhill, intercepting the Half Marathon course beginning at the Murray Co./Carter Co. line and finishes to the cheers of fans at the 50 yard-line inside nearby Noble Stadium.

The Valero Fast Half Marathon

Runners can expect to run a personal best on this course. It is mostly downhill and mostly straight. Beginning at the Murray Co./Carter Co. line in the Arbuckle Mountains, the point-to-point course winds downhill through the beauty of the foothills and finishes to the music and cheers at the 50 yard-line inside Noble Stadium.
